Su Raza

Su Raza is a Dominical Landmark. They have offered huge plates of good food since before the surfers ever requested the first super bacon burger. Now nearly ever restaurant in town has a super burger or a club, but their monstrous club comes with an impossible helping of fries. Their natural laid back Costa Rican atmosphere permeates the open aired dining room where a member of their extensive family takes a turn watching the store and making change from an old cigar box full of Costa Rica's massive silver and bronze coins and crumpled bills.

You might buy an ice cream for desert, or they'll bring you a beer with your meal. Ask the waitress how the chuleta casado is and she'll make a circle with her hands as big as a plate and tell you how fresh today's pork chops are. Su Raza offers great local food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner throughout the week. Right in town in front of the bus stop, beside the stinky trash cans.
